Foundation for the Development of Silesia…

The basic aims of the Foundation are:

  • to support undertakings in the scope of modernization and construction of municipal infrastructure,

  • to support initiatives in the scope of modernization and establishing craftsman shops, service workshops and agriculture support shops, with an unambiguous preference of small and medium-sized business entities,

  • actions aimed at supporting the development of culture and art in the form of patronage over undertakings in this field,

  • to initiate and provide help in actions aimed at the protection of historical buildings and places of remembrance important for the history of Silesia,

  • to purchase or help in repairing facilities connected with the cultural activity, mainly for the benefit of German minority associations.
    The Foundation for the Development of Silesia and Supporting Local Initiatives fulfils the above mentioned aims especially via returnable and non-returnable financing of projects and awarding non-recurrent financial aid.
